Creative, Fun Kits Being Assembled for Patients at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital
As part of our active Community Service Learning program led by Laurie Halligan, Chris McCanna and Laura Smith, St. Raymond School is participating in an exciting project to benefit Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. Between March 20th and March 31, each class will be collecting items for patients and families staying at Packard Children's Hospital. After the items are collected, the students will assemble patient kits with various themes. These simple, creative kits will be delivered to the hospital and distributed to patients and siblings to have some fun during a difficult time. Themes for the patient kits include, JK/K: Memory Kits, 1st/2nd grades: Baby Bags, 3rd/4th/5th grades: Arts and Crafts, 6th/7th/8th grades: Teen Kits.
Lucile Packard Children's Hospital has made a difference to so many of us right here in our St. Raymond School community. Please be generous.
