Annual Golf Tournament, "The Howard", Resounding Success
The 32nd annual St. Raymond School golf tournament was held last week at Stanford Golf Course. Renamed The Howard Daschbach Memorial Tournament ("The Howard") five years ago, the golf tournament honors Howard Daschbach and the Daschbach family who have been an integral part of the St. Raymond community since its' inception. Chaired by Doyle Rundell and Greg Bundy, this year's tournament proved once again to be a huge success.
The day kicked off with 120 golfers hitting the links for a Shotgun Scramble followed by a family barbecue and Live Auction. Father Christopher Fadok was honored for his service to St. Raymond School and Parish. The tournament, a cornerstone of the St. Raymond Men's Club, has successfully raised funds over the years for various causes at St. Raymond School. This year over $100,000 was raised to support the Mechatronics program and other special projects.
Many members of the Daschbach family were in attendance, including Leonore Daschbach, matriarch of the family. Thank you to the Daschbachs for their overwhelming support and thank you to all our sponsors, family, friends and community members who came out to support St. Raymond School. It was a memorable day for all in attendance.
