5th Graders Shine In Track Championships

Our 5th grade Track athletes finished the season strong with a great performance at the Championship Meet at Mills High School.  St. Raymond finished 4th place overall out of 15 schools.  Our 5th grade athletes scored 89 points, behind St. Matthews with 133, OLA with 112 and St. Dunstan with 93 points.

"Although we finished just out of the trophies (they give trophies to the top 3 teams), I think we may have had the best overall performance of any team based on the number of athletes we had competing", commented Track Coach, John Coyle.

St. Raymond 5th graders scored 89 points with only 9 athletes competing which is quite a feat as many teams had considerably more athletes entered in the meet.

A big congratulations to all our 5th grade track athletes.  We are very proud of how well they competed and represented St Raymond School.
