St. Raymond Celebrates May Crowning and Hosts Alumni Brunch Honoring Ann Kelly
St. Raymond 8th graders celebrated the traditional May Crowning on May 4th. Sister Ann McGowan once again led the class in a beautiful Mass followed by the crowning of Mary in the Rose Garden by Religion Commissioner, Carson. S.
Following the May Crowning, an Alumni Brunch was held in the Parish Center honoring Ann Kelly, long time St. Raymond School parent and school secretary. Over 50 alumni parents gathered to pay tribute to Mrs. Kelly. Many past Presidents of the Mothers' Club were in attendance. CAPA Coordinators, Brooke Puleo and Heather Frauenhofer, presented Mrs. Kelly with a "Buddy Bench" to be placed on campus as a gathering place for children to form friendships. Jim Wells Catering provided a lovely brunch. It was wonderful to have so many of our alumni back on campus to celebrate this special occasion with us!
