"Reading Corner" Provides a Welcome Break
No, it's not Mr. Sullivan's living room . . . it's the reading corner! New this year, Mr. Sullivan has converted a cozy area of his classroom to a spot where students can kick back and relax. The students use the area to read, listen to music, or close their eyes. The reading corner belongs to the students. During class, you will often find a student who has completed an exercise or test sitting in one of the chairs reading or just taking a break. At lunch, there are often students gathered there to listen to music and chat. The only rules - No food or drinks and treat the reading corner as if it were your living room at home. Thank you to the Chaikovsky, Austin and Bobadilla families, who donated the furniture and lamps.
