6th Graders Test Their Guests on "Special Persons' Day"

Our 6th graders were able to challenge their guests on "Grandparents' and Special Persons' Day" with  a creative and fun Math exercise centered around finding the measurements of angles. The 6th graders are currently studying geometric figures and measurements.  Mrs. Kumar brings Math to life, and this was one example of how she keeps the students interested and involved with different Math related activities.  It was fun for them to test the Math knowledge of their guests and also get some good practice measuring various angles.  Many of the visitors surprised the students with their outstanding Math skills!
