Students Prepare for Easter
St. Raymond students participated in activities this week to prepare for Easter. Students gathered with their "school families" for an activity centered around the Last Supper and Lenten Reflections. The students read a story of the last supper and then shared grape juice and crackers together. A discussion of Lenten promises and reflections followed. The students talked about their Lenten promises and how well they were able to keep their promise.
This week, each student was given a rock with a cross etched in it as a reminder that Jesus is our "Rock". "God alone is my Rock and my salvation. My stronghold in whom I trust." Ps. 62:6
On Holy Thursday the entire school celebrated the Stations of the Cross, led by Jesson Mata. The students followed a path around the school grounds stopping at each station to reflect and pray.
